THE PART OF FEBRUARY WHERE WE ALL GO THROUGH PUBERTY AND JIZZ HOT LAVA
Welcome to the part of February where we all go through puberty and jizz hot lava. The rules we’ve been following have reached their expiration date and we must look beyond them, in the same way a teenager seeks something beyond what their parents (or society) has imagined them to be.
Hormones spike as the holy Saturn/Neptune combo inches closer, growing in intensity as Saturn in Aries meets Neptune on Feb 20th at 0º Aries. Not only is 0º Aries like hitting your head and waking up with the sudden ability to do kung-fu, but it will coincide with an Aquarius eclipse on Feb 17th that is in the shape of a blown fuse. Expect an outpouring of collective events, the sagging floorboards of society are dropping into a new timeline...a timeline that many of us don’t really understand how to be a part of yet, and so anything is possible.
Saturn/Neptune moments coincides with coo-coo political attempts to control ideology. Likewise, you find a lot of collective uprisings in reaction to its bleakness. The last time Saturn/Neptune came together in the late 80’s, it coincided with the fall of the Berlin wall. It was also when Romanians collectively protested and publicly executed their oppressive dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu. Last year in Aug/Sept 2025, when Saturn/Neptune was riding 0º Aries, a youth uprising occurred in Nepal. Not all Saturn/Neptune combo’s start with a bang. This one probably will.
Personally, you may be trying to prove a long-time fear or limitation isn't real. Saturn in Aries asks: How do I be in the world in a way that makes me feel alive? As a Mars ruled sign, this means taking responsibility for what really excites you, and working with Saturn to build the inner-authority and self approval to pursue it.
With dreamy Neptune in the mix, you may feel urged to “do it all,” but just do the part that turns you on, because you’re good at it and you want to cultivate that skill for your community. If you're not sure what that is yet, good. Saturn in Aries doesn't plan too far ahead. This placement bricolages one brave act to the next and consolidates their efforts along the way. Stay present with what's emerging, impulse to impulse.
These next few weeks squeeze a lot of change in a small amount of time...though it’s an intensity that should not ruffle your confidence. Let it be the heart of forging a new future, our psyches are ready for it. I know because Jeff Goldblum has Saturn/Neptune in his chart and the world spent the last year obsessing over Wicked. We are primed for oppressive leaders puttering out on their magical powers, while the punk magicians dissent against the smoke and mirrors of their god-like branding. This is the year we all veer away from the barf-piss promise of the yellow brick road.
