FEBRUARY IS A LOT

We’re all going through puberty this month as the holy Saturn/Neptune combo inches closer, growing in intensity when Saturn enters Aries Feb 13th. It smashes into Neptune on Feb 20th at 0º Aries, where we all jizz hot lava and become Buzz Lightyear when he woke up to his factory settings. 

You may be enduring the erosion and reshaping of life goals, relationships, behaviors, values...something you thought was solid might be throwing in the towel as you grow interest in a new passion or mode. Saturn/Neptune has been mixing our reality into pancake batter for awhile, any remaining false clumps are being negotiated as we let go of what's not working anymore. Listen for the ah-ha moments and expect some liberating changes, changes that have been a long time coming.

Historically, Saturn/Neptune is often reported as an Eeyore-droop that coincides with coo-coo political attempts to control ideology. Likewise, you find a lot of collective uprisings in reaction to its bleakness. The last time Saturn/Neptune came together in the late 80’s, it coincided with the fall of the Berlin wall. It was also when Romanians collectively protested and publicly executed their oppressive dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu. Last year in Aug/Sept 2025, around the time Saturn-Neptune was riding 0º Aries, a youth uprising occurred in Nepal.

Not all Saturn/Neptune conjunctions start with a bang. This one probably will. Not only is 0º Aries like hitting your head and waking up with the sudden ability to do kung-fu, but it will coincide with an Aquarius eclipse on Feb 17th that is in the shape of a blown fuse.

Use this fire to build momentum towards a custom-made contribution for/with your community. With Saturn in Aries, don’t try to “do it all,” just do the part that turns you on, maybe because you're already good at it or you want to cultivate that skill. Saturn in Aries asks you to define what motivates you, and to secure the inner-authority and self-approval to pursue it. If you don’t know what that is yet, embrace some Aries trial and error, consolidate your efforts as you go.

This month squeezes a lot of change in a small amount of time...though it’s an intensity that should not ruffle your confidence. Let it be the heart of forging a new future, our psyches are ready for it. I know because Jeff Goldblum has Saturn/Neptune in his chart and the world spent the last year obsessing over Wicked. We are primed for oppressive leaders puttering out on their magical powers, while the punk magicians dissent against the smoke and mirrors of their god-like branding. This is the year we all veer away from the barf-piss promise of the yellow brick road.
