Hi I’m ✧Blair･ﾟ✧ I’ve been going steady with astrology for over 15 years in combination with my work as an artist and healer. My guidance is raw, real and informed by my love for storytelling and play. I work best with fellow artists, activists, wild ones, weirdos or really anyone curious about life.
Outside of formal chart readings or more intimate astro-coaching, I experiment with astrology through comedy theater and video art. I am the Director of the alt-comedy astrology theater troupe Planets, Planets, Planets, and produce a directory of moving image horoscopes. I am a former apprentice of Oilbhe Ephraim Pepper at the Lunaria Tarot and Mystic School and a longtime student of the hermetic arts. I am a Somatic Trauma Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Mind-Body Life Coach, Parts Work Facilitator and currently in the middle of Cranial Sacral and Psychodynamic Body Work studies. I teach, write and lecture on many astrology topics and train other astrologers and mystics at Your Life Is Enormous, an astro-coaching school.
I am deeply privileged to have had the mobility to follow my passion. I do not take this for granted and devote my life to social change, starting with this internal work with my clients. No one’s self-development should be compromised because of systematic oppression. I designate reduced rate reading slots each month and depend on those who can afford regular prices to subsidize the accessibility of my services.
What is an astrology reading like ?
MY PROCESS
Before every session, I sit and build intimacy with your birth chart and the visual language it evokes in me. I am an artist, every chart is a visceral muse of shape, color and poetry. I curiously link together these abstract impressions with practical philosophy and storytelling.
In addition, I combine my intuition with a lot of grounded, technical tools from a traditional astrology standpoint. Your chart is always shifting, evolving and hatching certain life events, trends or mood-boards...I deduce how, when and at what rhythm. Astrology rocks because it is a storytelling tool that allows us to give crisis or joy the gift of meaning and growth. It also lets us know when certain cycles start and end, so that we can show up for them with open eyes.
During sessions, I hold my prep-work lightly because for me: readings are a sacred, improvised happening. I approach every client as a holy collaboration between whatever our energies together are called to reveal in that moment. Sometimes, I discover unexpected, new revelations only through our real-time experience together. Other times, you help me recall my prep-work and we expand on it...it’s all an open conversation.
There is no right way to show up to a reading with me. You can come with a million questions or let me ask them. You can laugh, cry, scream. You can direct it entirely or just listen to me riff. I do this from a trauma-informed, integrative place and value creating a safe container to process life’s intensities. All readings are confidential and recording is optional.
Last, it is important to note: Astrology can be extremely accurate !...yet I am not here to be right... I am here to provoke you, to tell stories about your chart that you can either lean into or deny as a way to launch you into your own truth. I believe that our birth charts are a creative opportunity and I am committed to giving my clients a real experience of themselves that leaves them feeling whole.
