APRIL ASTROLOGY: TRANSFORMATIVE HIP THRUSTING

 If you want to know when the craziest sh*t is going to happen throughout the year, follow Mars’s path. 

Mars is coming around the mountain to speed up larger collective outer planet themes and bully them into motion. If we are not certain what is globally crumbling, this month may spell it out more directly when Mars enters Aries April 9th to start a commotion with Neptune and Saturn.

Mars in Aries is a hot-blooded hunter and hero. It is compelled to demonstrate it’s potency through dare-devilish challenges. Mars first pounces on Neptune April 12th, encouraging us to follow a big dream with ferocious delusion. Though, being drunk with passion will prove to be a poor substitute for actual discipline and clarity when Saturn slaps us awake April 19th. The task this month is to modulate an excess of urgent energy and heat. Carving out your own path takes methodological determination and is full of inner-demons, haters, hard choices and old white dudes destroying the world.

April 9-19 is athletically intense, though on the other side of the jungle, after 7 years of being in Taurus, Uranus will finally enter Gemini April 25th. I think this will be a welcomed shift for collective morale. Gemini gives Uranus better access to it’s trickster qualities. It’s a more conducive placement for local activism, revolution and creative ingenuity. It also comes with overstimulating vices and technological dibs, dabs n’ drones but all in all, with the planet of rebellion leaving a slow and steady earth sign, life will take on a whole new dynamism.

The month is teaming with Aries energy, and so dream big, but act in iterative, small steps - be specific about what you’re wanting and have the realism for the long-haul. Don’t waste your time on half-desires, and don’t overheat with ambitious burn out by trying to rush the journey. Repeat out loud: “I can handle this.” Trust yourself and attend to each challenge, one foot in front of the other.
